Tosey: Our Resident Queen of Comfort
There’s something so comforting about having Tosey around — like a cozy blanket you didn’t know you needed. She’s not just our most frequent and longest house guest; she’s practically part of the furniture now, quite literally when she sprawls out wherever she pleases!
Tosey has continued to make herself completely at home. She eats, sleeps, and, well… takes care of business wherever the spirit moves her. True to form, she’s still the undisputed queen of the big round couch — especially if I’m already settled there. Nothing makes her happier than a good lounge session, preferably with a warm human nearby for extra coziness.
When it comes to friendships, Tosey’s heart still firmly belongs to Hershey. No new pals can quite replace that bond. Most of the time, she’s wrestling and playing with Hershey and Frasier, barely sparing a glance at anyone else. It’s a little club of mischief and energy, and they love every minute of it.
As the weather’s been warming up, we’ve noticed a new habit: Tosey has become quite the little sun worshipper! She now enjoys slipping out the doggy door to bask in the sunshine. Sometimes she’s out there so long I have to call her back in before she gets too dusty from our dry yard. She’s just living her best life, soaking it all in.
Of course, no day would be complete without Tosey randomly sparking treat fights throughout the house. I think she’s still not the biggest fan of her regular kibbles, but after a day full of adventures and play, she tends to polish off her dinner a bit faster — energy well spent.
Since my parents have moved back in with us, Tosey has found herself another fan. My mom absolutely adores her mellow, sweet personality and often calls Tosey over for quiet cuddles on the couch. Safe to say, she’s winning hearts left and right without even trying.
Nothing major to report — just the daily joy of having Tosey around, doing her thing, and reminding us that sometimes the best parts of life are the simplest: good friends, sunshine, comfy couches, and lots of love.
Until next time,
