Sheldon’s Last Entry – A New Bond
It took almost a full week, but today, I can proudly say Sheldon has truly opened up to me. This morning was the moment I knew our bond had leveled up — he followed me everywhere, tugging and chewing on my sleeve, inviting me into his playful world. When I couldn’t keep up, our two schnauzer babies happily jumped in to help! Sheldon rolled around on the floor, teasing and playing with them in the most delightful way. He even followed me to the toilet and waited for me lol
He’s also come a long way with his manners around our Beagle friend. Sometimes I can’t help but feel it’s the Beagle stirring things up a bit — she barks and blames poor Sheldon even when he’s trying his best. To give Sheldon a fair chance to show his sweet nature, I made sure to separate them at times, and it really helped him relax and be his charming self.
Looking back, Sheldon made a bit of a rocky first impression with a little accident during his first visit. But ever since then, he’s been perfect — not a single accident in the house all week. Every time we stepped outside, he took care of business promptly, with a routine as steady as clockwork from morning to night.
Sheldon has truly been a joy to have around — a good boy who knows both his strength and his limits. His playful spirit and gentle heart will be greatly missed when he leaves. Until next time, Sheldon. You’ve earned a special place in all of our hearts. ❤️
