Savannah: Back with a Bang!
Savannah, our little firecracker Pomchi, has returned—and just like last time, she came in like a whirlwind. From the very first minute of her arrival, it was game on. She hit the ground running (literally), chasing tails, hoarding every toy in sight, then fiercely defending her treasure stash whenever Hershey or Frasier dared to come too close. Then it’s off again to explore, only to circle back and repeat the cycle. She’s got her own little loop of chaos and joy, and she’s been on full repeat from morning straight through to this evening as I type this.
There were a few brief moments where we all needed a breather—Savannah included. She’d hop up on my bed, trying to get as close as possible for a quick cuddle, but don’t be fooled… those moments were short-lived. She hasn’t really sat still or laid down for more than a couple of minutes at a time all day. This girl is go-go-go!
We spent a lot of time playing in the backyard, and while she definitely had fun, I couldn’t help but wonder how she felt about the heat with all that glamorous Pomchi fur. Let’s just say, she sparkled in the sun—but I’m guessing she was also counting the seconds until she could stretch out somewhere cool.
I have no doubt she’ll sleep like a rock tonight. After a day like this, even Savannah has to crash at some point… right?
