It’s incredible how far we’ve come in just a few short months since starting this incredible journey—one that’s been fueled by the love and support of my two Schnauzer babies, my wonderful wife, and even my mom (who temporarily joined the team recently).
For those of you who’ve been with us from the beginning and know me well, you already know this isn’t about the money. This is a true passion project. Nearly every dollar earned from this little side gig has gone right back into making things more professional, more efficient for our clients, and most importantly, safer and more comfortable for all the pups who visit us (treats, equipment, toys, etc). This is all not counting how much time and effort I’m spending every day.
Launching this new booking system is just another step in that same direction.
I’ll be honest—it’s not the flashiest system out there. It’s no Airbnb or Priceline. But it’s practical, and I think it’ll make life easier, especially for our regulars who travel often. You’ll be able to view availability, check rates (which rarely change, especially for our VIPs), book and manage your own reservations, and even export the reservation and import it into your own calendar. (The syncing feature is coming if I have enough people using the booking system)
The only thing it’s missing to make it feel truly polished is integrated payment at checkout. That’s a conscious choice. Platforms like PayPal take an additional 7–10%, and at the rates I charge, which are already modest, it just doesn’t make any financial sense at the moment. I hope you understand and appreciate your continued support more than I can say.
