Guest Spotlight: Mowgli the Wonder Pup
Day two with Mowgli and let’s just say—he still looks like a kid who just stepped foot in Disneyland. Eyes wide, tail wagging, and energy for days. Everything feels brand new and exciting to him, and watching him take it all in has been nothing short of delightful.
Mowgli is one of those puppies you fall in love with instantly. Even my mom, who is a well-known clean freak, can’t stay mad at him—even after he marked his territory inside the house twice today. That says it all. 😄 He’s just got that charm.
One thing I couldn’t help but notice—his mom did a top-tier job with his nail trim. This boy has big, heavy paws, yet not a single click or scratch on our wooden floors. It’s kind of amazing, especially considering how many zoomies he pulled off today with our Schnauzer duo, Hershey and Frasier Jr.
And speaking of Frasier—this was a milestone. Frasier usually takes a good week (or two) before he fully warms up to a new pup. But with Mowgli? Total exception. They were rolling, chasing, wrestling, and genuinely bonding like old friends. It was honestly heartwarming to see. Hershey, of course, was in on the action too—she and Mowgli had everyone laughing with their playful sprints and goofy antics all over the house and backyard.
It’s clear that Mowgli’s still soaking in this new world, but he’s doing it with the heart and curiosity of a pup destined to grow into a truly wonderful Labradoodle. He’s playful, loving, and full of life—and we’re so lucky to have him here with us.
