Mowgli’s Return: Double the Fun, Double the Mischief!

After his first visit, Mowgli’s mom was so thrilled by how much fun he had that she sent him right back to continue the good times—and wow, did he hit the ground rolling! Literally. From the moment he stepped into the house, Mowgli dove into a joyful wrestling match with our resident Schnauzer duo, Hershey and Frasier Jr. These three have quickly become an inseparable trio—like the Three Musketeers of tail-wagging, floor-flopping chaos.

We’ve seen this kind of all-day-long, tag-team play only once before with our other regular guest, Tosey, but even Tosey usually tires out sooner. Not Mowgli! This pup was on a mission: play from sunup to sundown, followed by spontaneous nap attacks on random cozy spots around the house. In addition, Mowgli visited us during one of the busiest weeks we had; he met so many new friends along the way. And I think he started to learn something naught only a grown-up male pup would do lol

Just when we thought his stay couldn’t get more eventful, a family emergency meant Mowgli got to stay with us for an extra night. We were happy to keep him safe, happy, and fully entertained—and honestly, we don’t think he minded one bit.

But no week is complete without a twist, and on day three, Mowgli met a new face: Beau, a high-octane young Whippet pup with legs for days and zoomies to match. For reasons only puppy logic can explain, Mowgli was absolutely spooked by Beau’s wild energy. 🫣 More than once, he made a dramatic dash across the room, tail tucked and all!

Of course, at Biggest Little Doggy Care, stress-free fun and safety always come first. So we stepped in right away with snuggles, reassurance, and a little strategic space management. Mowgli got lots of personal cuddle time (we weren’t complaining!) and reunited with his Schnauzer besties for familiar comfort and play. Meanwhile, Tosey—our older, wise pup—stepped in like a seasoned resort host to help keep Beau company.

By the end of the day, the balance was restored. Mowgli was back to his silly, happy self, making sure the toys were squeaked, the beds were flopped on, and the Schnauzer siblings were thoroughly entertained.
