Luna, a petite and lovely Labradoodle nearing 12 years old, recently joined us for a stay, and she’s been nothing short of a calming presence in the house. Much like our past guest Kora, Luna is a true introvert at heart. She doesn’t seek out much interaction with the other pups, but every now and then, she’ll quietly follow the group from room to room—never right in the middle of the action, but close enough to watch from a comfortable distance.

Her favorite spots? Definitely our big cozy couch and the bedroom bed—two top choices among our shy or senior guests. There, she curls up like she’s always belonged, soaking in the quiet energy of the space while the house flows gently around her. She has total freedom to roam the resort at her own pace, and she makes full use of it in her own unhurried way—wandering over for a cuddle, peeking out onto the patio for some sun, or simply settling into her preferred nook to relax.

Luna is a quiet girl who’s very easy to get along with—respectful, undemanding, and content just being near. Mealtime has been mostly smooth, though she does have a clever trick of picking out her food toppers and leaving the kibbles behind. To keep her nourished, we started grinding her toppers into a fine powder and mixing them into her bowl, soaking the kibbles in the flavor she loves. It seems to be working, and she’s been finishing her meals with a little more enthusiasm.

We’ve truly enjoyed having Luna with us. Her calm energy and sweet nature are a gentle reminder that not every pup needs the spotlight—some just need a soft place to land and the freedom to be themselves. And here at our little resort, she gets exactly that.
