Lulu - Mini Goldendoodle

Welcome, Lulu – Our Latest Doodle Darling!

I

We’re thrilled to introduce Lulu, a one-year-old Mini Goldendoodle who will be spending the next 11 days with us here at Biggest Little Doggy Care. As anyone who knows us can tell you, we’re absolute suckers for Doodles — their friendly smiles, gentle energy, and goofy charm always light up our home. And sweet Lulu fits right in.

From the moment she arrived, Lulu greeted us with that signature doodle smile — warm, curious, and just a little cautious. She’s friendly and quiet, but definitely observant, taking her time to assess her new surroundings and decide if we were as trustworthy as we claim to be (spoiler: we are!).

And let me tell you, Miracle lived up to her name.

Her first dinner took a bit of coaxing. Lulu’s usual meal — a blend of canned food topped with a sprinkle of kibble — didn’t seem to spark her appetite. But thanks to our secret weapon, the ever-popular beef jerky topper, she quickly changed her mind and cleaned her bowl like a champ. Still, we’re keeping a close eye on her eating habits, as breakfast on day two was skipped… even with jerky! Interestingly, she showed a real interest in our own pups’ Hill’s Science Diet puppy food. Go figure!

Outside of mealtime quirks, Lulu has already made herself at home. She jumped right into playtime with our Mini Schnauzer duo, Hershey and Frasier Jr. It was toy tug-o-war galore and even a few rounds of fetch in the backyard. Even though Lulu is bigger and quicker, she kindly lets little Hershey win more often than not — a doodle move we know and love.

When she’s not chasing toys, Lulu lounges around like she’s been here for years. She hops up on the couch or bed like they’re her personal thrones — no hesitation. She’s not much of a cuddler like our past guest Cola the Bernedoodle, but she always stays close. You won’t find Lulu hanging out in a room alone; she wants to be part of the family action at all times.

Hydration? No problem — she’s been drinking well and has kept a steady potty routine. We’re just keeping an eye on that finicky food preference. In the meantime, she’s happily accepting treats of all kinds — Milk Bones, freeze-dried liver bits, beef broth chews, and of course, a little peanut butter goodness.

All in all, Lulu’s first day and a half has been a delightful start. She’s sweet, sensitive, and full of potential to blossom even more in the coming days. We’re excited to bond with her and make sure her stay feels like a true home away from home.
