Lulu’s Weekend Adventure: New Levels of Fun and Friendship
Since our last update, Lulu has taken her fun to a whole new level—and we have Panda and Colby to thank for that! These three had a full-on playcation this past weekend, and it was pure joy watching the dynamic unfold.
Lulu and Panda were a perfect doodle-sized match, chasing each other non-stop, inside and outside, like two long-lost siblings reunited. Meanwhile, Colby had a different agenda—chasing his own tail in circles of comic relief that had everyone (dogs and humans alike) smiling. The balance of energy, excitement, and harmony was just right, and it was beautiful to witness the connection among the trio.
When Panda and Colby checked out yesterday evening, I have to admit I was a little concerned Lulu might feel the void. Their bond was special, and the play was so engaging. But to my surprise, today brought a whole new chapter of connection—this time with our very own Frasier Jr.
Now, Frasier Jr. is a bit more reserved than his sister Hershey. He’s particular about who he plays with, usually keeping his playful wrestling reserved for her and a select few of our regulars. So when I saw Lulu and Frasier Jr. rolling all over the floor together—calmly, happily, and without any chaos—it truly warmed my heart. No barking, no crazy zoomies, just gentle and genuine play. A rare sight indeed.
There is also a last minute little Jack Russell guest tried to hop in on the fun from time to time, adding just the right amount of comic interruption to the mix.
Watching Lulu settle in like this, not just having fun but forming meaningful bonds, shows me she’s truly feeling at home here. This isn’t just a pit stop like the dog park—it’s a place where friendships grow deeper and days are filled with joy.
Now if only my two little babies didn’t need another bath already after a full day of floor-rolling (they just had one last week!). But hey, a little dirt is worth all this happiness.
