Lewis – The Timid “Dawg”

I

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting Lewis, a young but hunky little French Bulldog. Despite his sturdy posture, he turned out to be quite the timid sweetheart at first. It took a solid 30 minutes of cuddles to ease his nerves, but once he started feeling more comfortable, his curiosity slowly took over.

At first, Lewis cautiously tiptoed around the house, observing everything with those big, expressive eyes. But little by little, he began mingling with the other pups—both outside in the yard and inside the house. His transformation from shy to social was gradual but heartwarming to watch.

Initially, he was too nervous to even take a treat. But as his confidence grew, so did his appetite! By the end of his stay, he was happily accepting every treat offered to him; definitely a sign that he was starting to feel at home.

One of the funniest moments of the day? Lewis’s fascination with our baby girl! He was completely smitten, following her everywhere like a true “dawg,” sniffing around as if on a very important mission. It was adorable to see him so invested in his new little crush.

Unfortunately, his mommy missed him too much to stay apart for long, so his visit was short but oh-so-sweet. Hopefully, he had as much fun as the rest of our furry guests. I know we loved having him! Can’t wait to see him again for more cuddles and adventures. 💕
