We’ve met our fair share of Frenchies here at the daycare, but none quite like Ja’barkis! Though he only spent a few hours with us, this pint-sized powerhouse made a huge impression.
From the second he trotted through the door, Ja’barkis made it crystal clear—he was here to play! Unlike most Frenchies who like a short burst of zoomies before settling into nap mode, Ja’barkis was all gas, no brakes. He chased tails (with anyone who had one), dashed circles around the pack, and ran at a speed we didn’t even know Frenchies were capable of. Seriously, none of the other pups could keep up—and they tried!
What really blew us away was his stamina. French bulldogs are known for their adorable snorts and short sprints… but not Ja’barkis. He kept going until pickup time, with just a few well-timed water breaks in between. (He’s a smart boy—he knew when to hydrate and recharge!)
There was one hilarious moment where he threw up a little from sheer overexcitement—something we’d been warned about by other Frenchie parents. Still, seeing it in action was a first, and he bounced back like a champ.
To be honest, it was pretty hard to capture some good, clear pictures because of their speed of play, which is just too fast for the camera lenses.
Beyond his athletic feats, Ja’barkis also brought the full spectrum of classic Frenchie expressions—wide eyes, goofy grins, and pouty stares—but his extra-mini stature made them all even more irresistible. Add in his outgoing personality, and you’ve got a triple threat: energy, charm, and heart.
We’d absolutely love to have Ja’barkis back for a longer visit—this little guy brought big smiles to everyone’s faces!
