Day 2: A Fun-Filled Saturday

The morning started bright and early at 7 AM with some good stretches and outdoor time as the pups enjoyed the fresh air and did their thing in the yard. After a bit more playtime indoors, brunch was served at 7:30 AM. Keeping Ferguson focused on his own plate was a bit of a challenge—his curiosity about what the others were eating kept distracting him! But with some encouragement, he managed to finish about 80% of his meal before losing interest.

At 8 AM, our house regular Tosey made a special Saturday morning visit. By now, Ferguson and Tosey have become great friends, and their excitement upon seeing each other was heartwarming. The two wasted no time jumping right into their usual playful antics, setting the tone for another fun-filled day ahead!

Ferguson had an absolute blast today, playing non-stop with all the pups in the house, especially his buddy, Tosey. It’s been heartwarming to see how much more responsive he’s become with me. I used to have to chase him around to bring him back inside after potty breaks, but now he follows me in without hesitation. He’s even grown so attached that he tried to nap on my neck this afternoon! His tail wags endlessly when he looks into my eyes, and he’s started following me around the house, always eager to stay close. When I step out, he even waits anxiously by the door, which just melts my heart.
