Ferguson’s Fun-Filled Day: From Blues to Zoomies

Today, Ferguson’s mom told us he’d been feeling a little down lately. Even after two days of constipation, he wasn’t his usual self—he didn’t even want to eat his brunch. But we had a feeling our little resort would be just the thing to lift his spirits.

Maybe he just missed his buddies—after all, they’re probably the only friends he’s known in his young life. The moment he walked through the door and saw Hershey and Tosey, his tail went into full-speed wag mode! Frasier, on the other hand, was his usual reserved self, but that’s just his style.

And, for some reason, our guests always seem to love our puppy food. It’s nothing fancy or expensive, but even the pickiest eaters (looking at you, Bo!) can’t resist. Ferguson was no exception—he happily chowed down his brunch.

But the real fun began when Bo, our weekly regular—a two-year-old poodle—joined in. Maybe it was their matching fur color, but these two hit it off instantly! This was a big surprise because Bo has been pretty reserved during his last four visits. But today was different. They chased, rolled, and licked each other nonstop, playing like lifelong best friends. By the time midday snacks rolled around, they were both happily exhausted.

The afternoon was more relaxed—just some lounging and a second round of backyard playtime. And by dinnertime? Ferguson had no trouble polishing off his own food. It’s amazing what a little socializing can do for a pup’s happiness and appetite!

We love seeing our furry friends bond and bring out the best in each other.
