All eyes on Lulu
After their second cozy night at our doggy haven, Colby and Panda woke up ready to take on another full day of tail-wagging fun! It’s safe to say these two have truly settled in—they’re eating, drinking, playing, and relaxing like they’ve always been part of the pack.

Panda, our little picky eater, continues to try his best to finesse me at mealtime—carefully selecting only the yummiest bits of kibble and trying to leave the rest behind. But with a little dog-friendly omega oil added to his lunch, suddenly the “boring” parts became gourmet! Problem solved (at least for now).
Meanwhile, Colby is the total opposite—he’s all about the food and even tried to sneak some of Panda’s leftovers! Of course, I had to step in to make sure our charming little chowhound didn’t overdo it. Between meals, Colby has officially claimed “laziest guest of the day” status—preferring cuddles in our arms or snoozing in bed over playtime. But he did manage to get some “steps” in today…

Why the sudden motivation? Her name is Lulu—our one-year-old mini Goldendoodle guest. For reasons only Colby knows, he was absolutely enchanted by her today. He followed her around like a smitten pup, trying to sneak in hugs (and not much else, thank goodness). He even wore a silly little smirk every time he got close. We were in stitches watching his puppy crush unfold.

Panda, on the other hand, had a different kind of interest in Lulu—pure, unfiltered zoomie energy. The two of them were bouncing off the walls together, chasing each other with nonstop enthusiasm. It was pure joy watching their youthful bond in action, and honestly, the other pups didn’t even try to keep up!

For such a short stay, Colby and Panda fit right into our little doggy family. Panda continues to impress with his house manners—no major accidents indoors, which is rare for a pup his age. We’ll still need to work on bedtime routines, but all in all, they were fantastic guests.

I was lucky to snap a few adorable moments to send home with them—just a small reminder of the fun memories we shared. Until next time, boys!
