Meet Chloe, a 3-year-old Havanese mix with the kind of personality that keeps us guessing—in the best way possible. Is she shy? Confident? Both? Honestly, it’s hard to say, and that’s exactly what makes her so uniquely endearing.
One moment, Chloe is quietly tucked into a corner, observing the world with those gentle eyes. The next, she’s wagging her tail and hopping into playtime—especially when our resident toy poodle Bo is around. The two seem to share a special bond that brings out Chloe’s playful side, and it’s such a joy to witness those moments when her sparkle shines through.
She tends to keep her guard up around people, though. When I reach out to pet her, she often pulls her head back with that unsure look or rolls over submissively, unsure of what to expect. But then, a few minutes later, she’s right back beside me, tail wagging, silently asking for more affection. It’s this gentle push and pull that makes gaining her trust feel like such a special reward.
Knowing her parent were hoping for some beautiful photos, I made it my mission to make her feel truly comfortable. We took it slow—snuggling together on the bed for over an hour until she finally felt safe and secure. And let me tell you, that patience paid off.
